Renewable energy

Renewable energy is energy that is derived from natural resources which can be replenished naturally. Renewable energy sources are sunlight, rain, wind and tides to name a few. Non-renewable resources are not naturally replenish-able, and although there may be currently be an abundance of them, once those supplies are depleted, they are gone forever. Examples of non-renewable energy sources are fossil fuels and nuclear fuels.

There has been an increasing focus on the development and reliance on renewable energy resources for many reasons. Renewable energy sources are more environmentally friendly, causing no emissions, which lowers the impact on global warming.
